Last week I was excited to find circa 25 #Yellowhammers in a ‘rare’ uncut billowing hedge by a small patch of Phacelia seedheads 1/2 mile down the road from home Today I was thrilled to find 2 in a hedge just 200m from my house! Ever hopeful for that garden tick #NorfolkBirding #UKBirding

And the quality of these photos completed nose dived when posting on here, the distinctive eye rings on these birds look sharp on the original photos but are blurred on here, it’s a bit disheartening really and I’m not generally too fussy

I'm fed up of being able to touch cars overtaking me on my bike. At 35mph cars must give AT LEAST a Range Rover's width and MORE still as speed increases or conditions worsen. It would be great if you could pass this on, because people are getting killed.

DEFRA pulled the Sustainable Farming Incentive last night, with no notice. This will be a great loss for landowners trying to improve habitats, financial devastation for some environmental consultants and a great loss for biodiversity. Dyson and Clarkson don't care. There will be no protests.

The sun took a while to reach Norfolk today & North wind was fierce on Hunstanton beach but managed to locate the 5 #Shorelark which were distant & mobile, the #GlaucusGull on remains of dead seal & bonus #Fulmars on the cliffs.
