A summer go-to. Bodhi's relation to the spiritual side of surfing doubles down for Point Break as an action film, one that few others equal in that regard. Also, Bigelow directs a total 'dude movie' better than most dudes ever manage. That foot chase? Tremendous stuff.

One of my 10 all-timers. Brazil has the same intensely meticulous visual craft as something like Tati's great Playtime where nearly every frame is stuffed with detail to catch your eye. Few pics in cinema history rival it.
