Does the average American know what the GDP is?

If Trump cuts 2 trillion dollars from government spending, the GDP will go down by 2 trillion. That, by itself is a 7.5% downturn in the economy and is a huge recession, causing major job loss. That's not an opinion, it's just simple economics. Now, about tariffs raising prices.... good luck.
