I had an amazing couple days in Cannon Beach, Oregon this week. My first photo trip of the year and the most successful I’ve had in a long time.

With Noel Francisco absolutely bombing at the Supreme Court today in TikTok v. Garland it’s clear that once again I don’t own enough Meta stock. This should be the biggest news story in the country, it’s just 9 days until TikTok goes away.

I’m going to a 90s theme party tonight which is an excellent excuse to whip out one of the first hand held cell phones made. iPhone for scale, this thing is a beast!

I took advantage of the sunny weather today and found some sea stars down at the Seattle waterfront. They have really made a comeback in recent years.

Orca sighting right off Seattle this morning! They successfully hunted a couple of seals. What a way to start the week.

Happy Friday from Seattle! Today marks the end of a colorful streak this week, rain is back tomorrow.

Sunrise in Seattle this morning, we finally have a good sunrise/sunset forecast week and I am here for it. I’m heading back out for sunset this afternoon.

It was a gorgeous sunset in Seattle tonight

Can’t wait to hear how putting a 25% tax on lumber from Canada will help create US jobs

With hiking season over I have been looking for other things to keep busy. Winter storms make for great wave watching and this was my first time down at Cape Disappointment.

Really enjoyed the fish ladder in Seattle yesterday, king salmon are huge!

It’s always a good day when I find goats to photograph

I saw some stars last night

A successful tide pool trip in West Seattle today

It’s a beautiful 4th of July in Seattle

Spending the holiday weekend in the city, but I cannot wait to get back into the wilderness. I’ll be looking for flowers, here’s a tiger lily from last year at this time:
