On 24 Feb, a US sailor was arrested for exposing himself in a shop in Ginowan City. The annual data is in for US military crime in Okinawa. 2024 was the highest for 20 years with 80 personnel arrested; as for violent crimes, 8 incidents made it the worst year since 1992. US/Japan talk about lessening islands' military burden but things will likely worsen under Hegseth's watch.
