Hyperbole and ‘end of the world’ reactions that tell people something is true that demonstrably is not…that’s his play book. He has enough faults and weaknesses as it is to take him down we don’t need to go further

No one is liking it Bernie. But if we don’t deal in hard facts then you are just being like Trump and excusing his misuse of facts. It is not a dictatorship or no sign as yet free elections won’t happen in future

It’s not a dictatorship if people are freely voting and choosing who represents them and who next president will be

There are midterms in 2 years and another election in four years and to say anything else at this point just plays into trumps hands

See that’s the bit I think is the issue. Trump is a disaster policy wise and hurts huge sections of society. Saying it’s a dictatorship just makes his supporters think ‘well that’s clearly not true’ so they double down. We have to stop the hyperbole

Of course they have. It’s not their first nor the first dreadful mistake in history.

Going to be difficult but fg have got to try wrestle attention back to something they feel strong on

In an election where nobody noticing much it could be it or at least something that started questions

If the option for her was standby by and leave ff and fg to govt or take at least one of them out then she has to. If people don’t vote in sf on their own or with smaller parties then you got to go in with hand you were dealt. Would be worse to stay out of option on table

And no I don’t think Mary Lou is impacted if that’s what figures dictate then people would want sf to go into govt rather than just allow others do the job

Not under Martin but if the leadership changed it might happen. In a three way tie of parties somebody has to consider it or else ff and fg will eventually just merge because they aren’t creating space to co-exist

Yeah I doubt much change but I also consider large vote for Indos is a lot of indecision and non committed voters… if parties were smart they would focus on hitting that vote but no doubt they will waste time hoping for transfers and attacking other parties, which means no change
