finally. this road was really bad in the dark and rain. but it’s fine now! glad I wasn’t proved right with evidence that it’s “an accident waiting to happen”. (but it was)

easy to be alarmed about Kingston council temporarily closing a key town centre facility because of the roof… but I don’t think there’s any significant worry here really here’s a Facebook update from the councillor who does the most to tell people what’s going on

I've registered my comments and I'd urge you to too. I was a councillor when this last came to committee, and we made the strong case that keeping the bike lane was imperative. nothing's changed we either support safe sustainable travel or we don't

this is welcome - with caveats about protecting public events in the space Kingston First spends too much bandwidth on running this area which, imo, doesn’t represent good value to BID payers (I pay three lots of levy)

a bit of a Banquet / Tolley in The Times today. it’s a well written piece. you can tell we were talking, not typing. best quote is “Tolley is tall, rangy and talkative.” had to google rangy. phew, it’s fine anyway, deal is Banquet / Kingston gigs continue to be newsworthy

Tolley is tall, rangy and talkative.

the one thing I’m clear on on this farmers protest, is I’m not qualified enough to say what’s right and wrong on it

first listen through front to back for maybe 20 years

carry me home tonight

of course there's history here. it's not just about what Bacchus in the noughties, which certainly defines who i was (and became)... but it's also about right now. I believe in nightclubs. and this underground dungeon is a proper staple of Kingston nights out. long may it continue. I'm in.

today, my 4 year old told me Allah was in the sky, even in Australia, and Africa and even Norbiton!

turned up to tonight's Kingston Council meeting but it's one in one out. or as @gekins.bsky.social says, it's "one out one in" which is a nonsense. who says nightlife is dead?
