Nothing really new here. As Elvas - Evora, Portuguese side, will be done this year, this all about the line Madrd - Extremadura, Spanish side. It’s TEN-T so the EU will co-fund. The more pressing issue: improve what can be done later this year once Elvas - Evora opens. #CrossBorderRail

The end of an era! The farewell of @bahn.de's ICE3M - a train that once heralded the glorious expansion of high speed rail across Europe, connecting 🇳🇱, 🇧🇪 and 🇫🇷 to the ICE network. A train that even once went through the tunnel to London 🇬🇧 for a Germany <> London rail link that never came.

Damn I’m tired Dinner in the neighbouring village. Friend of a friend there, an IT developer “In 🇦🇺 they’re installing hydrogen filling stations for cars! It’s amazing!” Me: “🇩🇪 did. It was too costly. Hydrogen isn’t efficient in land transport” Him: “We need more research!” Me: “No. Use a 🔋!”
