In Slither (2006) at a 50 minutes 26 seconds a child can be seen reading a copy of Goosebumps book You Can't Scare Me! A fate at least comparable to having an alien slug eat your brain. I watched JENNIFER’S BODY with a sold-out crowd last night and, I’m happy to say, the film still plays like gangbusters. Laughs, screams, a real energy throughout the film.
