Late on the update, but thanks to @activatetransitwe.bsky.social advocacy the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel Bus has been saved (for now). Unfortunately with a fare increase that could deter ridership, and with Mayor Dilkens threatening to veto the budget amendment altogether

The tunnel bus survived the first vote[1], but the mayor is considering a veto[2]. The bus was saved in a 7-4 vote[1]. We need 8 votes to save it from the veto. This would be a great time to write to your city council representative and tell them to save the bus. #Windsor #WindsorON #Detroit
