I was looking at Lightning CSS for bundling, minifying, and scoping (via CSS modules) a component's CSS for django-bird. I *really* didn't want to require users to install Node to get the tool, which is the only current official way to install the CLI tool. github.com/joshuadavidt...

Spent a lot of the day banging my head on finishing the parser for django-language-server. Dealing with error recovery has been a nightmare, but I just had a big brain moment - this is an LSP for Django, just parse the Django specific bits in to an AST - everything else can just be text.

Must be something in the air, I just found the recently released django-template-lsp — fourdigits.nl/blog/django-temp… Very impressive! They are much farther along than I am, but it seems they are only focused on templates where I kinda want to expand beyond that eventually, starting with the ORM.
