The thing to understand about Trump is like in his first term, he doesn’t want to govern. He doesn’t want to learn. He wants to campaign and look good. Republicans know this. So there are battles going on right now to take control of the actual process of governing.

An absolute no brainer for DNC chair is @benwikler.bsky.social . Thanks to what Ben built at WisDems, when the country swung ~6 points to the right this cycle, Wisconsin only swung 1.5 points to the right, while actually *adding* seats in the state legislature and holding onto Tammy Baldwin's seat.
