The JPH Editorial Board is delighted to announce their 2026 #Publication Incentive #Grants: graduates of a PhD or MA since 2019 in a field relevant to #Pacific #history can apply for a grant of AU$3,000 to prepare a manuscript for submission to peer review on a topic of relevance to the JPH.

Sincere thanks to those who helped me to settle into the role of Outreach Officer & Editorial Assistant this year. These JPH virtual offices will now close until 20 Jan. I look forward to reading those excellent journal articles, talking with book publishers & locating content to share in 2025.

Farewell to Professor John Waiko. John was an exceptional person, PNG historian and a budding poet. His scholarship and words have left a significant legacy for many, giving a unique voice to PNG history; my heart is with his loved ones.
