I close on my new house this week!

19 days until Opening Day! I was lucky enough to get Votto to sign my jersey of his at Redsfest and now it is framed.

This would solve approximately 98% of my problems right now.

There was a time when I thought these two would be the 1-2 punch in the Reds rotation for years to come.

It is 63 degrees today. I took two walks outside and the grill will be fired up for dinner this evening. I'll enjoy every minute of it because, living in Cleveland, it could still snow for another two months.

I feel like I'm one of a few Reds fans who hasn't seen them play in Arizona for Spring Training.

It's been a pretty good, relaxing birthday. My wife took me out to lunch and then told me to watch sports all afternoon. Now she's making my favorite meal for dinner. It's a good day.

32 years old today. Looking forward to it being one of the best years of my life.

This is how I finished the month of February.

If you see this, quote post with a photo you made of a sunset.

Let's go on a journey here. Scotty Ingerton played one season for the Boston Rustlers (the now Atlanta Braves) in 1911. The only season of his MLB career.

Show me you in a hat

I've seen enough. Elly is making the team.

There are two Spring Training games I'd like to watch at the same time, so I'm currently regretting saying no to having two monitors in my office.

Today is a good day.

Would any mutuals on here be interested in playing fantasy baseball? My wife and I play each season for fun, so there would be no money on the line. I only ask that you actively try to compete for the whole season. Please let me know.

My goal this year is to go to more Guardians games. I may be a Reds fan living in Cleveland, but I do love Progressive Field.

This Elly de la Cruz kid is making a name for himself early in Spring Training.

It's been a long winter. There is still snow on the ground. It doesn't matter. We back.

We are excited because our favorite baseball team plays today!

This week my wife and I have dealt with our son getting a double ear infection, registering our son for preschool, getting all the paperwork done to close on our new house, and celebrate our son's birthday; all while working the whole week. I feel accomplished. And mentally drained.

I bought my first pack of 2025 Topps cards and it's always exciting to see the first Red I'll get. This year goes to Lowder!

Post a picture of the last game you were at.

Spring Training isn't just for players to get prepared for the season, it's for fans too. For example, I'm currently retraining myself to stay up to 10 pm to watch my team play the duration of their games.

Happy birthday, buddy!

I'll be straightforward with this post. My wife and I put an offer in on a house that fits everything we are looking for in a forever home and our offer was accepted this afternoon. A lot of emotions, but I'm glad to find the place that will become our new home. Time to get to work.

This is so awesome for the city of Cleveland!

I didn't leave my house today and I'm not planning on leaving my house tomorrow. This is a great weekend.

Happy Valentine's Day, Laura. I love you and our son more than anything. Thank you for being my absolute better half.

We are now only 6 weeks away from Opening Day!

If you want a reminder for how much healthcare in this country is a joke, my son's yearly checkup next week got cancelled due to insurance reasons. His appointments must be 365 days apart. His next week was 363 days since his last week, so it wouldn't be covered. A damn joke.

Spring Training starts today! Happy baseball, everyone!

Me getting ready to fire up that "baseball is back!" post right after the Super Bowl ends.

If I took my wife and son to Disney World for a week, it would likely cost around $6k and that's with staying at a value resort. Most people can't afford that and I feel like that goes against the original mission Walt Disney had. www.wsj.com/business/dis...

I appreciate all the support, but the offer my wife and I put in on the house was not accepted. We need a bigger house, but we can live in our current house until we find what's perfect for us. It helps to know that we can wait for what works for us. Next time will be better.
