Ooh my current favourite topic! Honestly, almost all the animal kingdom 😆 I’d add to bats, sharks and vultures with spiders, snakes, wasps, hyaenas, pigeons, gulls, rats, cockroaches and flies (even mozzies!). Want to know more about our relationship with unloved beasts? Watch this space… 👀

Hardly new info, but BSky should know: Warsaw's water quality is monitored by eight clams with magnets attached to their shells. If contamination in the water causes the clams to close, the magnets trigger an alarm and shut off the city's water supply. Thank you, little guardian molluscs. 🧪🌏🚰

Beavers built a dam in two days while authorities wanting to do the same were bogged down in red tape 😆 Saved CZK 30 million (about £1 million) and of course they did it fantastically. I’ll never understand why some people are so intent on waging war on wildlife. english.radio.cz/beavers-buil...
