These books did not spark the joy in me so I gave up on them. I accept your rebukes since I didn’t want to give away the Naguib Mahfouz. I actually haven’t read them and I felt it would benefit other people than them languishing on my pile. Maybe in another time I’ll meet them again #books #tsundoku

Alternative Alamat edited by @anitero.bsky.social 5/5. It took me more than a year to finish this book, not because it was a hard read, but because I never wanted it to end. The Alipin’s Tale by Raymond Falgui is my favorite but there isn’t a lackluster story in this collection #books #philippinelit
