This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

It’s surreal how fast the United States has fallen into a dictatorial regime. Checks and balances are gone, the president disappears innocent people into foreign prison camps, words get banned, and the Overton window shifts at light speed. I honestly wonder these days when they will come for me.

If you, like myself and many others, are a naturalized citizen who has been critical of Trump, I think it's time to delete all socials and go into hiding. If you can leave, leave, if you can't do whatever you can to stay off their radar and stay safe. I feel sick.

That Kristi Noem video with the detainees is so upsetting and the fact any sizable fraction, let alone a majority, of our society would endorse it is evidence of a deep rot in our entire culture. Like until you answer what fuels the appetite for that kind of thing it will only get worse

So it's over right? Hes disobeying the judges. He controls congress, so they won't help. The military isn't going to help. It's just over. We are captives in our own nation and the general public is just acting like it's normal.
