I like cats, dogs, pets, cooking, history, finding anomalies in AIs, and working on puzzles. I used to code. Not really into mainstream politics, and usually, I speak and type in complete sentences, but I have a tendency toward run ons. 😉

I rarely bother with politics, but this RFK Jr thing worried me, but apparently, he is already reined in, but I don’t like all he’s likely agreed to, at least according to this investigative journalist, who my smartest friend tells me is the best: rokfin.com/post/200539/...

I’m convinced the “do audiobooks count as reading?” argument all derives from those mid-90s summer reading pizza challenges. Folks - we’re all in our 30s and 40s now. It’s no longer a competition. Go buy your favorite pie with your adult money and let people enjoy books however they want.

I’m trying to strike a healthy balance between being informed and being oblivious.

Not politics, but still edgy: I think in a good way. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/m...

As someone who grew up online, it does depress me to see how many people genuinely can’t fathom why someone would want to be on social media beyond reasons linked to building clout so you can make money. It’s fun to talk to interesting people from around the world. That’s always been my reason.

An early start at 9.00AM by the Warwickshire Hunt this morning in the hope of having a few hours hunting without sabs was wrecked when sabs turned up. Three foxes were seen to safety over the course of the day.

Seems like reasonable advice :)

Bought these at the used bookstore - they're going in my neighborhood's free little library here in SC. #goodtrouble #BookSky 💙📚 #Books #BooksChallenge #BookBansAreBad

"We read books to find out who we are. What other people, real or imaginary, do and think and feel… is an essential guide to our understanding of what we ourselves are and may become.” Ursula K. Le Guin .

I see books are a thing on here. Here is part of one side of my bookshelves. They need re-organising and I have the same again on the other side but BOOKS!!!
