Hey, @mlb.com, I attended around 700 A's games, saw MLB games in 46 ballparks, went to Japan twice to see the A's, and have been to 50+ minor league parks. This Opening Day, I want to tell you that I choose to never see an MLB game again. What you did to Oakland is disgusting. Fuck off forever.

Newsom on trans athletes today: (1) I agree with him; (2)) he's definitely running for president; and (3) the fucking NYT only had time for the most extreme reactions to Newsom ("betrayal"). It's bad journalism.

What fabulous news from Syria... yeah, it could go bad again, but for now the doors to torture chambers are flung open, the war is mostly over and Assad, in anyone's conversation of "most evil people on the planet," is either cowering in Russia or the UAE or, if we're lucky, dead in a plane crash.
