Snow Moon #moonset Iphone #timelapse, Wednesday morning, Discovery Park. Cold (20F) down by the water. At some point I should pay for Photopills or similar so I can plan this stuff, but I still enjoy being surprised, happening upon an unexpected shot. Do timelapses count as #photography ?

Tip of the helmet to bike commuters(& public transit riders, you're out there too) in weather like this. I'm just out for exercise & to take some photos, but I've climbed over snowbanks in work clothes to board a bus. I'd do it again if I had to but I'm glad I don't for now.(knock on wood) #bikesky

Snow yesterday; a sunrise today. The waste treatment plant right behind me singes the nostrils when the wind blows wrong; it was blowing right this morning. Waves rolling rocks back & forth forever, smoothing edges, till nothing's left but grains of sand in which someone once saw the whole world.

Crow came back today. Landed on the planter, checked for peanuts, and when finding none, looked at me thru the window for a minute before flying away. Waited in the tree nearby for me to restock before flying back over. Allowed me closer to the window than before. Progress #crowfriends

Predawn Monday morning. For 10 minutes, it's just me & fluffy flakes falling in snowy silence but for the passing sounds of car wheels on wet pavement, a dog walker, a runner. The world shrunk down to just what I can see & hear & feel. No horrors, just this, if only just a moment.
