Well, Google just made it public that they have now overtaken Meta as this administration’s biggest tech lap dog. #cowards

In job interviews and college admissions, we focus too much on what candidates have accomplished, and too little on what obstacles they've overcome. The true measure of people's potential is not the height of the peak they've reached. It’s how far they've climbed to get there.

I wonder if companies like @unitedairlinesual.bsky.social hit up their C-Suite and BOD for donations as aggressively as they hit up their customers?

Just a friendly reminder that the same people who call you to ask for instructions on how to use the TV remote are running the most powerful country in the world.

The US is no doubt a powerful country globally speaking. What we aren’t anymore is as influential as we once were. That’s a problem.

As we watch the CA wildfires continue to destroy homes and take lives, remember this word, #Climateflation

My 17 yr old daughter said to me ‘I don’t want an expensive wedding. I’d rather be able to own a home.’ Proud moment but also humbling to hear how this generation is feeling about the challenges they know are coming financially.

I drank two cans of Coke in the last day. Why do I feel like I should be getting in Troy me for something…..

The math that airlines use to determine if we are landing/taking off on time is something I’m not familiar with.

Irony? Satire in real life? I don’t really know how to pin this one…. www.cnn.com/2025/01/02/u...

Love this take by Ed Elson. $1MM question is, how can we support/leverage human brands to counter weight the disproportionate amount of power brands have? #EquityIsHumanity #ProfG

Not sure what all the hubbub is about. I’ve been drinking raw milk since 1980….. and guess what, humans were drinking it for 100’s of years before that.

Wrapping up another trip to my favorite place in #mexico is yet another reminder of how many balls we’re in the U.S. We can learn a lot about ourselves when we experience how others from different nations live.

Can we just retire the word ‘obsessed’ in 2025? It’s so over played and frankly stupid. To exclaim you’re obsessed over pumpkin spice lattes speaks volumes. Like 800 decibels of ridiculous type of volume.

Remember when college football players used to bedazzle their helmets with stickers? What happened to that?

Absolutely

I’m convinced my gym has too many members and they’re trying to get some to leave. Last two times I walked in the front door, Wilson Philips and Spice Girls playing.

It’s estimated that immigrants will grow the U.S. Economy by $7 Trillion over the next 10 years. They’d also add $1 Trillion in tax revenues. Who does this work if the supply can’t support the demand?

‘Make something people want’ became famous via @ycombinator.com.web.brid.gy Maybe we’ve gotten to a place where we just need to ‘Make something better than the status quo’.

Interested to see what happens with all the big consumer brands leaving X. Do they end up on @bsky.app or leave that social channel unfilled?

That moment you log into a new social platform and the world actually feels kind of small…. Suppose I should enjoy it while I can.
