Oh Carl Sagan. On the one hand, I’m glad he did not need to see what we became. On the other hand, he already saw what we were becoming.

Guys this isn’t an “Oh no, we told you so” situation. Everyone knew. They didn’t care.

I am wholly supportive of finding your people and your tribe and a safe space to share your whole self with them. But what’s the endgame? If we and “they” do nothing but talk to each other, we choose to never recover the ability to have discourse and discussion. There must be space for both.
