Trump preparing to celebrate Juneteenth by coming out as pro-slavery. He spends every day bending the arc of justice in the wrong direction and every day is an additional rmbarassment

Just because Republicans elect sex offenders doesn't mean Democrats need to - someone picked at random off the streets of NYC would likely be a better candidate than the nepo baby sex offender Cuomo - if you don't want kings, don't perpetuate the aristocracy.

Trump won't do it because he knows his rhetoric is responsible for it

Utah's senators are for most of America, the public face of the Mormon religion. That being so, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints might want to think about the damage Mike Lee is doing to their image and suggest that he resign.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, should go to Utah for any reason until Mike Lee resigns. Artists should cancel their concerts there. Conferences should relocate to other states. Professors invited to give talks there should cancel.

Has Trump even mentioned, much less condemned, the assassination and attempted assassination that took place in Minnesota?

The answer to Kruse's question is, of course, they will, and it's because we no longer have a free press. Instead, we have a press that is captive to corporate interests and the whims of billionaires who care not at all about democracy.

It was a relief to see that so many others in my community and country feel as I do and are prepared to fight for our democracy - that so many are, as Dylan Thomas wrote, prepared to "rage against the dying of the light".

🤣🤣🤣@washingtonpost.com Are you auditioning to become the official paper for North Korea?

Is it even a parade if no one shows up to watch it? 🤷‍♂️

And it's not thousands protesting but millions, the gross underrepresentation is purposeful. The @washingtonpost.com is simply no longer a reputable news organization and that pains to me to say having grown up in Washington DC in the 70's and 80's - you know, when the Post had courage and integrity

With a few exceptions, journalists and news organizations have utterly failed us. Why did people even go into journalism if they weren't willing to spread hard truths and hold public officials accountable?

Trump looks like an utter jackass. Marching soldiers like toys when a real war is going on. Attacking peaceful, productive Americans and dehumanizing them. Now an evil political assassination. He cannot and will not perform his job. Those who voted for him should forever hang their heads in shame.

Sounds like we have an active alcoholic descending towards his bottom running the Defense department. Too bad we will all hit it with him.

This is what the law firms of Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, A&O Shearman, and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft signed on to defend

Jesus Christ... the Washington Post is so fallen from its former glory that it tacks on the name of Robert W. Malone—one of the most infamous, shameless, and dangerous misinformation merchants in the United States—as one of the Kennedy Jr. appointees without making any comment about his past at all.

Increasingly, I think the way to peel off male Christian MAGA supporters is to make fun of the very real, overt fetishistic homoeroticism of their Trump worship. Mockery often works on audiences unresponsive to rational argumentation.

As the violence against citizens in LA continues to unfold, occurring at the hands of a fascist regime, remember that it is that regime that these law firms agreed to defend for free: Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, A&O Shearman, and Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.

It is because they spread the truth that they are being targeted

If there are no masks at political protests then there should absolutely be no masks to political contributions including those to PACs, those to politically active non-profits, and those made through straw donor schemes

Trump is starving Ukraine of some vital defensive systems. Again, it needs to be said, the US government is now acting in such a way that it is helping the Russians kill Ukrainians.

So, to be clear, Musk has now admitted he funded a man he believes to be a pedophile to be president. And Trump has now admitted that he gave access to high level government secrets to a man he believes to be a big time drug addict. This should be *the* story on the Sunday shows tomorrow.

Every Republican politician should be asked if they support the pedophile or the drug addict.

And still, there are tens of millions of red-hatted Americans waking up this morning, bathing in the political equivalent of liquid pig manure, thinking they are making America great again.

Will we now get true investigative reporting about Trump's Epstein ties and the allegations that he raped a child and then threatened her into dropping her law suit?

T his is Trump’s latest maneuver to avoid sanctioning Russia, say that both Ukraine and Russia should be equally sanctioned. He is desperate to protect Putin.

Maybe Taylor Swift is right and Trash does always take itself out. If so, neither Trump nor Musk will be left standing

Between the Elon Trump fallout and 30 percent of dead Russian bombers this is shaping up to be a pretty nice little week

If true, this means Musk was covering up for a pedophile until it was no longer to his benefit to do so.

Worth the read.

There is a crisis regarding masculinity in this country and while I might disagree with Kinzinger on any number of policy issues, I agree with him here 100%

Many white evangelicals and Catholics thought God told them to elect a serial sex abuser and convicted felon, and then the serial sex abuser empowered a Nazi junkie to dismantle key parts of the federal government, including cancer research. What an advertisement for organized religion.

This is really worth 90 seconds of your time. Please share with your low information voter friends.
