The comment period for this ends in 3 DAYS. Please leave a comment telling them EVERYONE should be able to get covid boosters. www.regulations.gov/commenton/FD...

Please read and share this whole thread. It is important. As Alyssa points out, this is the thin end of the wedge. The goal is lowering all vaccine uptake and production which will (and has already started to) destroy herd immunity for other serious, once-nearly-vanished, diseases. Take action now.

The UN has just confirmed it has been given permission to send “around 100” aid trucks into Gaza today (for context: pre-war an average of 500 trucks were entering per day). Fletcher earlier acknowledged the risks to staff who may be caught in Israeli airstrikes as they try to deliver the supplies.

My statement on the charges filed against me:

I feel like any reporting on the political charges against Rep. LaMonica McIver need to include the fact that Donald Trump pardoned Jan. 6 insurrectionists that brutally attacked police.

There might be some value in employing people who are capable of looking closely at things and then explaining what they see 🤷‍♀️

Here's a thread of verified civilians trying to survive in Gaza. Their Bsky accounts are constantly deleted, so I’ll post directly to their funds. These are real people, in desperate need of help. We’re their only lifeline due to the aid blockades. Please give if you can and share. 1/17

I'm excited to read this!

A Q&A about my new book for the Faculty Bookshelf of Princeton's Council of the Humanities.

Me, revising a chapter of my book.

Kim is also at work on a fantastic dissertation in the Princeton Religion Department on African student migration, race, and religion in the US and West Africa.

A must read, as always, from @mpgphd.bsky.social : "MOVE people deserve to be remembered in the full complexity of their humanity. And we who remember them forget the stakes of “religion” at our own peril."

I really appreciated this conversation about *Black Religion in the Madhouse* with Sean Graham of @activehist.bsky.social. I got off to slow, nervous start, but I think it gets better.

I could not have written my most recent book without the resources made possible by the National Digital Newspaper Program. More information and ideas for action in the thread.

As a scholar, as a teacher, and now as a museum educator, Chronicling America has been invaluable. Beyond that, though, it's OURS. We paid for it. It's a public good.

It was wonderful to talk with @adellembanks.bsky.social about my forthcoming book. #AcRel

Job: Project Manager, Museum of Fine Arts Houston World Faiths Initiative (WFI), funded by Lilly Endowment Inc. over a five-year period, seeks to activate themes of religion, faith, and spirituality in the Museum’s encyclopedic collections through innovative programming and reimagined displays.

I assume we'll be hearing about this from the New York Times for four weeks straight, right?

The gutter racism at work in the Claudine Gay situation and the craven, wholly unforgivable complicity of the NYT in the stitch up I think will go down as a shining light example of how the liberal US establishment helped pave the way for Trump’s fascism.

Check out Seth Perry's (@gradualdigging.bsky.social) new article about the history of alarm about the possibility of "President Pope. Pope President." #AmRel

Folks, this wasn't a protest. It was elected officials trying to do oversight of a PRIVATE ICE PRISON. The ICE Gestapo apparently went for the Mayor after receiving a phone call.

Happy 93rd birthday to my father, Bernie. Here I am with him, somewhere in Canada, back in the day. He was usually the photographer, so this is a rare one.

The Library of Congress is a research library. The Congressional Research Service researches for Congress. Scholars & researchers apply for passes to research. NO children’s section. Even the general public has very limited access.

I don't know that "the absolute fringes" would be, especially with this crowd. For scholarly work on the "lizard people" and antisemitism, see, for example, Michael Barkun's *A Culture of Conspiracy: Apocalyptic Visions in Contemporary America.* www.ucpress.edu/books/a-cult...

I'm sure this webinar on @suzzzanna.bsky.social's recent book, *Disgraced: How Sex Scandals Transformed American Protestantism,* will be great!

Excellent mail day with the arrival of @katicurts.bsky.social’s new book!
