Everyone sharing that Daily Beast tweet/article about Bill Guerin should know they massively misrepresented what Guerin said. He didn't say anything about Trump's "rhetoric" or "51st state" comments. He basically just said he thought the players were inspired by the booing of the anthem.

After talking to numerous people today, I'm starting to understand just really how tough a decision it was for Quinn Hughes to make today. So many things to consider. Canucks did not put pressure on him, they stood by him and supported him, they let him make the call.

At the end of October, Pettersson and Miller got into it at practice. Pettersson slashed Miller stick before Miller cross-checked Pettersson and called him a baby. Incident ended with Garland having words with Miller. For anyone who believes this is made up, the signs have been there all season.
