Post this every day: On Feb. 28 don't spend a DIME! Halt all buying. We have to make an impression on Trusk supporters that those of us being used by the administration still have some power. A day or 2 before, gas up your car, make sure you have food. Don't buy ANYTHING w/ cash or a charge card.

"Most Americans don’t want to believe that their government is taking lifesaving medicine away from sick people in Africa, or betraying Afghans who sacrificed for this country" But it's happening www.theatlantic.com/magazine/arc...

I'm disappointed to hear Andy Beshear won't consider running for McConnell's seat. Maybe after the Dems retaken the House in '26, he'll reconsider wanting to be a Senator. I'll be surprised if Moscow Mitch isn't bed-ridden by the time his term is over. He's in bad shape.

How best to poliiticize the military? Replace senior officers who are not aligned with the governing party. Neutrality isn't good enough, they must be puppets. The damage Hegseth and Trump will be doing will take generations to undo.

Right after Canada beat the US national team in the final game of the Four-Nations Face-Off, Prime Minister Trudeau tweeted on X, “You can’t take our country — and you can’t take our game.” Obviously, a message meant for the Trusk Administration.

Seems obvious to me.

Approximately 500 NIST staffers, including at least three lab directors, are expected to lose their jobs at the safety-standards agency as part of the ongoing DOGE purge, sources tell WIRED.

😠

What are the companies who were happy to hire them for open jobs to do? Is Trusk going to ship Federal office workers & researchers from DC to Ohio to do manufacturing and warehouse jobs? 😕

Daniel Koh: 'Career employees are the backbone of our country'

👏👏👏The "worst infrastructure disaster in US history"? Gimme a break. They should be booing for his exaggeration alone, but I hope they're also booing that he's their Congressman. More of this, please, voters.

Elon Musk just had the Community Note removed from the clip of his interview with Trump that went viral on X. The note pointed out that Musk lied about having to rescue astronauts because Biden supposedly abandoned them.

I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?

Beware: next step is Musk accessing our banks & paychecks — & taking what he sees fit. These are trusted servants working to help our tax system flow — and now 6,000 hard working Americans are jobless and likely uninsured.

Thanks to Astronaut Andreas Mogensen for speaking the truth, no matter what hideous term Musk calls him.

Translation: they want to privatize everything to enrich themselves and their friends. As we see in Tennessee, this hurts the most vulnerable. And it will exacerbate Gilded Age levels of inequality even further.

The Trump presidency is a threat to the well being of the American people.

$7 million to $40 million in less than a month! Yeah, the DOGE Bros are saving money. 🙄

Fantastic!

YIKES!

Yes, but let's start with one day. February 28. Easy to remember. Don't spend a DIME that day. Make sure your car is gassed up before that. Have your food ready at home. Don't shop in any store and don't use credit cards. Hurt those companies, too. They're not our friends.

I will do this. I won't even shop local that day.

This is a long article but WELL worth your time. It organizes the evil, making it easier to fight.

Elon musing about prosecuting schiff isn’t mere politics, it’s a lot more than that. I wish Schiff would explain a little bit more of what a norms crusher this is.

Hasn't anyone bothered to tell Trump that Boeing has a bit of a problem with safety even when they aren't rushing? I know DonOld never reads news but you'd think someone would clue him in.

What will it take to get them to speak up? The foreign policy they all shared to one degree or another is being trampled and we're swiftly losing allies. They need to get together and speak as one.

😱
