Our institute @neuropsi.bsky.social has an ongoing call for new team leaders, from junior to mid-career levels. All fields of neuroscience are welcome! Apply before May 30: neuropsi.cnrs.fr/wp-content/u... @cnrsbiologie.bsky.social @univparissaclay.bsky.social

Registration started for the Janelia meeting on spinal cord and brainstem circuits for sensorimotor adaptation across species. Spinal cord is more than a hub, it does supercomputing! www.janelia.org/you-janelia/...

Looking forward to seeing you in Montpellier. We will host a great symposium on descending motor circuits! You have a few more days to submit an abstract 👇👇

➡️ Apply now to the Master (M2) in Computation Neuroscience and Neuroengineering, co-led by NeuroPSI and CentraleSupélec. ➡️ Application link: inception.universite-paris-saclay.fr/en/ ➡️ Deadline: June 2025. ➡️ Learn more: www.universite-paris-saclay.fr/formation/ma...

Our latest study is out: Learn more about the way context shapes the modulations of neurons promoting escape and inhibiting startle : doi.org/10.1038/s414...

👁️ Don't miss the new paper on Müller glia response to injury from @murielperron.bsky.social team . It is out in Science Advances, now with the correct figure order! www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

📢A position of assistant professor (tenure) in developmental biology with a focus on IPSC/organoid technologies will soon be open to competition for a profile in neurodevelopment or development in my research team affiliated to Sorbonne University (good level in French and qualification required).

The lab is closed for the week, but nicely decorated! Happy holidays and see you in 2025!🎄🧑‍🎄☃️❄️

🎄✨ Last week we had two incredible days filled with inspiring talks, posters, and new connections. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate our #ChristmasMeeting_IN. See you next year! 🧠💫 More details 👇 in.umh-csic.es/en/the-insti...

Honored to have been part of this excellent Christmas Symposium.

Excited to be part of this Christmas Meeting, and looking forward to discover all the great people and research there!

Check this out!! Awesome discovery by the labs of Carmelo Bellardita in Copenhagen Univ and Simone di Giovanni in London on the physiological role of macrophages in muscle spindles on proprioceptor afferents - implication in sensorimotor control of movement www.nature.com/articles/s41....

Jean-Didier Vincent has passed away. He shaped the neurosciences life in the Saclay area at the end of the 20th century, as the head of the Institute of Neuroscience Albert Fessard in Gif-sur-Yvette, now NeuroPSI. He will be remembered as a prominent thinker and writer.
