I agree. Anyone with any size public or private platform should get a jump on the midterms and call out the GOP daily. "Enabling a national tragedy" is a good talking point to begin with.

Am I missing something? Where is Democratic leadership and spokespeople who should be appearing everywhere - on social media, on legacy media, in newspapers and tv - to spell out to American people how much Trump and GOP are harming them and this country? Why aren't more people fighting back?

Women can and should serve in the military. They can also be good mothers, partners, citizens. You know, like some men can be ludicrously unqualified for their jobs, and at the same time manage to sexually assault women, be raging alcoholics, AND be white nationalists. Multi-tasking! It's a thing.

Me, a public health person, just sitting over here reflecting on the fact that the US has experienced a 7% increase in infant mortality post-Dobbs. Like, do you realize what that says about this society from an ethical perspective? That we made policy choices that caused this? #PHEthx
