What are the Panthers getting in their new starting safety Tre'von Moehrig? @mikekayefootball.bsky.social joined me yesterday on Locked On Panthers, discussing how Moehrig would potentially fit into the defense.

My early free agency thoughts with Nick Carboni on WCNC. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvjH...

$20m per year to run for your life during a rebuild, Seems fair!

Wow. Carolina was closing in on a deal but that $26M per year had to be the sticking point. Gut punch for the organization and fan base.

Talked a lot about Moehrig coming to Carolina to fill one of the spots at safety. The Panthers are checking all of the defensive boxes with Horn extended, Moehrig now aboard and still TBD but close with Milton Williams.

Justin Fields being the first domino that needs to fall in the QB market tells you everything about this free agency class.

As a country, we deserve to experience Rodgers, DK, and Pickens on the same team and in the same locker room. Sucks that it will come at the expense of Mike Tomlin's sanity but it'll be great TV

Twitter acting up again.

The Panthers have made it a habit to trade away homegrown players in recent years -- Christian McCaffrey, DJ Moore, Brian Burns -- but since deciding to ship off Burns they've paid Derrick Brown and Jaycee Horn as cornerstone players on defense. A positive trend in the other direction.

This is comical.

Send me all of your Starter Packs. Let's rebuild a feed!

Did Elon pay his bills over at X 😂

The legal tampering window opens in about 15 minutes. One NFL executive said to me earlier to expect free agency to last "all of 13 seconds." Buckle in.

I guess it’s gonna be a Blue Sky day if Elon Musk isn’t able to get his shit together on the other site.

The Carolina Panthers should have won this game today. Flat out, they gave it away. However, the growth seen from Bryce Young over the past month may change things for the organization moving into 2025. open.spotify.com/episode/7tqt...

The Mike Bobo criticism has been low hanging fruit in Athens since Mark Richt was employing him as his OC. But it’s a tough look for Kirby to have had Buster Faulkner in the building and then let him go to Tech where he’s put this offense together the past two years.

Big boy drive for Tech. Georgia hasn’t had an answer all night. Buster Faulkner running circles around Kirby and Schumann.

This game felt a lot like Green Bay last year. But considering the quality of Kansas City’s defense and the past two performances from Bryce Young, this feels different. open.spotify.com/episode/0MjM...

Not a bad spot to record the latest episode of Locked On Panthers.

We’re seeing two things today… 1) A Carolina Panthers team that is dramatically improved behind a QB who is growing in confidence. 2) A Chiefs team that’s been getting away with all year and isn’t nearly as good as the 9-1 record suggests. Either way, massive credit to CAR

Dave Canales said earlier this week about Bryce Young that "he continues to do things that put us in a position to put him back out there." Well, he's doing it again this week. A great throw to David Moore on 3rd down against the blitz.

2 carries for 4 yards for Chuba Hubbard in the first. I think that needs to change a tad bit in the second half.

Cart coming out for JT Sanders.

Two more chunk plays on this drive. The Panthers have passing plays of 36, 34, 28 and 21 yards. All to four different receivers.

Two pretty massive RZ stops for the Panthers defense in this first half. They’re bending but haven’t broken on the two of the Chiefs longer drives. Now, they’ll need an offense that’s moved the ball to finish these drives moving forward.

Bryce Young already up to 107 passing yards after one quarter. He threw for 126 in the overtime win vs the Giants. Panthers successfully hitting the chunk plays against a stout Chiefs defense.

Who needs nudes in bio when you have this.

I can’t wait to see this app also devolve into a chaotic cesspool. But the purity right now is refreshing even if I have to start from scratch and my feed is barren.
