For the second straight season, the Sky took a big swing in the offseason — this time as draft stock sellers, trading the No. 3 pick for Ariel Atkins. What the trade means for the state of the rebuild in Chicago:

The Bulls have won 10 games at the United Center this season. There are only 11 home games left. Where are we setting the over/under on total home wins?

Billy Donovan emphasized how much the Bulls need to lean into their physicality to close the regular season. “I almost threw a party — Julian Phillips drew a charge.”

Bulls drop a 121-117 loss to the Suns. Sixth straight loss. Still tenth in the Eastern Conference!

Beal hits a 3-pointer to put the Suns up 121-115 with 13.5 seconds left. That should about do it.

And he's back on the bench.

Matas Buzelis hasn't been on the court since the 6:26 mark of the third quarter. Finally checking back in now with 8 minutes left on the clock. He led scoring for the Bulls in the first half.

Bulls trail 93-90 heading into the fourth quarter. Another barn burner at the UC.

Coby White just came up limping pretty hard. Seems like like he was testing his ankle before heading to the locker room.

Matas now going at KD. Got blocked on a 3-point attempt from his preferred left corner. Good learning stuff, keep it coming.

Lonzo Ball's defensive motor is so special. Covers every inch of the floor, sees stuff a half-second before it happens. That chase-down block wouldn't have come off clean for most other players.

Death, taxes and Grayson Allen getting booed at the United Center

Matas is: having a good game

Jalen Smith is also still in concussion protocol. He’s been having some issues with light sensitivity. Uncertain timeline on his return.

Ayo Dosunmu is out tonight. Sustained a shoulder injury in that last game in NYC. Couldn’t get his arm above his shoulder after that game.

Coby White is now the centerpiece of the Bulls offense. Is he ready for the spotlight? www.chicagotribune.com/2025/02/21/c...

Haphazard execution on the final play for the Bulls, which ends on a miss from Vooch off an awry pass from Coby. Bulls lose 113-111. Josh Giddey led scoring with 27 points and 16 rebounds.

Some solid defensive rotations from Matas in overtime

The Knicks have pulled ahead by seven points and Ayo Dosunmu appears to have hurt himself here in OT

Tough night from Coby

Looks like Matas Buzelis will not be in the closing lineup here in NYC. He's said before that he doesn't feel he's earned a place in that rotation yet.

The Bulls are hanging in this thing with some improved 3-point shooting, but they're also putting in a ton of effort to not give up 50/50 balls in this second half. Tied 97-97 with four minutes to go.

Another deflated night of offense from the Bulls. Vooch scored 14 points. Rest of the starting group combined for 16 points. Bulls trail 50-43 at the half.

Jalen Smith is out for the rest of the game with a face injury, per Bulls PR.

Jalen Smith got hurt on a collision with KAT, then KAT promptly (and accidentally) fell on top of him. Looks like his eyewear might have come off. He's headed to the locker room now.

Back to the same learning lessons for Matas Buzelis, who just got pancaked attempting to go up through two Knicks at the rim. Welcome back from break!

Defenders are back to sagging off Vooch at the 3-point arc again. He makes the Knicks pay for it early here in NYC.

Patrick Williams will miss at least eight of the final 27 games of the season. Get ready for some very, very undersized rotations y’all.

Patrick Williams is out for the next two weeks after receiving a platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection to treat tendinosis in his right knee. Participated fully in practice Tuesday and Wednesday.

"It just feels like family." Lonzo Ball says he never looked outside of Chicago ahead of re-signing with the Bulls at the trade deadline. How loyalty from the front office and comfort with the Bulls medical team informed Ball's new team-friendly deal:

The Chicago City Council approved the 1901 Project, a $7-billion, 55-acre development that will reimagine the blocks surrounding the United Center. Plans include new housing and hotel structures in addition to a music hall and public parks. Estimated completion date in 2040.

“I want to be different." Matas Buzelis has one goal for All-Star weekend — land a dunk that's never been seen before. Went behind the curtain to see what goes into building a showstopper, from sessions with Zach LaVine to guidance from a "dunk doctor.”

SBJ reports the Bulls have lost 63% of their TV viewership from last year — the most of any NBA team. Can only expect that number to grow post-ASW. Bulls are currently third in the league in attendance. Curious to see if that number also dips.

A lot of interesting stuff from Kia Nurse today. Open to playing the 2 or 3. A lot of excitement to work with Vandersloot in the backcourt. Talked a lot of shop about defense and the importance of spacing. Her primary goal is to be a locker room leader for a young roster.

Also credits Elizabeth Williams with being her main recruiter in free agency

Kia Nurse made a pros and cons list during free agency while deciding whether to join the Sky. After having conversations around the league about coach Tyler Marsh, she said that list was pretty lopsided. “It was really hard to find cons on Tyler.”

Kia Nurse is on for her introductory press conference with the Chicago Sky now. Describes playing with bigs Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese as “a shooter’s dream.”

doing some research for a feature that will be out this weekend, really tough day at work

The Chicago Bulls front office held out on trading Nikola Vučević due to a strongly held belief that better offers will materialize this summer. What if they’re wrong? Took a look at the window for a Vooch trade that the Bulls might have missed:

The Chicago Bulls hit a new low in a 132-92 loss to the Detroit Pistons. Is this their new normal?

Vooch on the outlook for the rest of the Bulls season: "There's no help coming. This is what we have and we have to find a way."

Josh Giddey talks about the Bulls getting booed at the United Center tonight: “We probably deserved it.”q

Billy Donovan on tonight’s loss: “It’s embarrassing.”

Gross! Bulls drop a 132-92 loss at home. Shot 35% from the floor, 21.3% from 3-point range. Matas Buzelis (12 pts) and Josh Giddey (11 pts) were the only players to score in double digits.

how many points do y'all think the Bulls score in the third quarter, let's lock in these guesses right now
