These days I prefer to have an outline or at least know how my story will end so I don’t write half the novel only to discover I don’t have a good ending. Guess that makes me a planner. #kidlitchat

For my first novel, I told myself the old axiom—write what you know. So I wrote about a girl trying to make a movie. We had hens back then so they showed up in her movie. Luckily, none of our hens turned into zombies—at least not that I know of. I definitely pantsed that novel! #kidlitchat
