One of my favorite things about the DK series, what makes it distinct from Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc, is that at its core is about animals. So I'm happy to see it highlighted with the world themes in Bananza. Beach-Monkey, Jungle-Ostrich, Savanna-Giraffe, and Snow-Zebra. Animal imagery everywhere!

Donkey Kong reaching out to a frightened Odd Rock (the weird little stone companion in Donkey Kong Bananza) and gently comforting him is... I don't know. One of the most genuinely true depictions of when his character was at his best under Rare? DK with empathy. DK with a heart.

Attempted to do the Peach redraw, and tried to stick within the NES limitations (including the bottom dress that is a mirrored 8x8 sprite). And breaking the trend, I swapped the colors around to try and reflect Peach's blonde hair and pink dress a little better. #nes #pixelart #artpost

It's a been a minute, here's some new sprites of all the new Pikmin from 3 and 4, as well as Oatchi! For years I've seen my old Pikmin sprites on the internet here and there, used for Sprite comics, perler beads, little animated videos, fansites, and even fan games!! Figured I oughta get back to it!
