Insane turnout for the #HandsOff2025 in NYC. And I have to lift up the over 90% of Black Women (once again) and almost 80% of Black Men who did everything they could to prevent this twilight zone episode in the first place.

I think I finally understand the Mayor's thinking. If you agree with the policies anyway, it's not a quid pro quo...🤦🏾‍♂️ May have a point on the Dems missed messaging though 🤔

This isn’t politics as usual — this is people-powered. We’re fighting for working families, for safer communities, for a fairer city. Let’s work together. Support the movement here: buff.ly/JAWzcjv

We did it!  We submitted over 60,000 signatures from New Yorkers in every borough to qualify to be on the ballot for Public Advocate. This campaign is people-powered, and I’m deeply grateful for your support. Let’s keep building together:

Well, to his credit, I gues. We're not talking about eggs today #MAGA #FAFO

This work isn’t about just one person. It’s about all of us. If you believe in building a more just, equitable NYC, join us. Sign up, stay connected, and let’s keep pushing together.

Child care is infrastructure. It’s how families survive. Stripping critical child care subsidies from 7K NYC families would devastate the same communities always asked to bear the burden. A just budget doesn’t cut care — it protects it. Invest in our people.

Keep DREAM or go DRAM (I'm still good with either)

His "...view of gov't & success is that if you won the media cycle, if you got the best headlines, nobody would be paying attention months or years later when those policies were deemed and shown to be wild failures" Let's DREAM Don't Rank Eric or Andrew for Mayor gothamist.com/news/cuomo-h...

I suppose congrats are in order?

New Yorkers deserve leadership rooted in justice, not ego or harm. I’m proud to stand with the folks at D.R.E.A.M. who are fighting for bold, principled leadership — not more of the people who got us here.

n a time when it all seems so overwhelming and bleak, what if you just did: -what you could -with what you had -where you were Imagine the power in that 💪🏾🔥💪🏾🔥 Let's go!

If " Look, we gotta do somthin'! " needed a celebrity endorsement We see you @booker.senate.gov

Trump’s transportation secretary claims to support the MTA, but he doesn’t mean it — he’s previously called to slash its funding. You can’t fix transit without investment. NYC runs on public transportation. I’ve always been an advocate for the MTA, and I’m not stopping now.

Can we finally admit that Musk is just at the beginning stages of Skynet 😳 IYKYK But for real though, we just gonna watch happen? www.forbes.com/sites/antoni...

Nice 80th birthday gift for Walt Frazier from the @ny-knicks.bsky.social Great win. We love ya Clyde!

A mother and two children loss their lives yesterday on Ocean Pkway in unbelievable tragedy. Harder to accept is, like gun violence, traffic violence is deadly and overwhelming preventable...this loss of life and injury was preventable. We need prayers for the family... and much more

The city made promises on bike lanes—but hasn’t kept them. That failure puts lives at risk and slows real progress on climate and equity. I’m demanding accountability. This can’t wait. Stay up to date: buff.ly/Kx4Hu4T

As Public Advocate, I’ve exposed bad landlords, pushed for tenant protections, and fought for real affordability—not giveaways to developers. We need housing policies that put people over profit. The work continues, and I’m ready to keep fighting. Join me:

I understand how (for some) anger, fear & bias (we all have) overrode critical thought, & why it's causing harmed people to think of #andrewcuomo as the answer While this video is for #trump now. Should angry voter syndrome allow a #cuomo mayorality just swap the names later Let's #learnthelesson

Not sure people can comprehend the impending danger if things aren't addressed for 911 operators and dispatchers Some NYers are increasingly being put on voicemail hold after calling 911. This can lead to no answer at all! ALARM BELLS are being rung!

The truth is, whatever issue you care about Andrew Cuomo verifiably made it worse as Governor. From Mental Health to Housing. From the COVID response to Elon Musk's Buffalo Billion debacle The D.R.E.A.M team for a truly safer & more affordable NYC nymag.com/intelligence...

I’m a proud product of the New York City public school system. The president’s push to dismantle the Department of Education is shameful. Shoutout to the city education officials who are refusing to put up with this BS — I’ve got your back.

Once again, Mayor Adams is more focused on appeasing Trump than standing up for New Yorkers. Encouraging city agencies to stay silent in the face of injustice is cowardly and dangerous.

Happy Women's History Month! Tonight, the Public Advocate and @bkbpreynoso.bsky.social will host a celebratory #WomensHistoryMonth event at Brooklyn Borough Hall. Join us for "Nevertheless, She Persisted: Honoring Women Who Make a Difference." RSVP today: forms.gle/Gw1d6b7nJPy7z38N8

Just wanted to make sure I underatand this correctly Deporting the taxpayers y'all said don't pay taxes Remarkable

From public school teachers to line cooks, working-class New Yorkers keep this city running. But despite all that work, too many are still struggling just to make rent and put food on the table. It’s not right. Join me in the fight for the working class:

What makes @columbiauniversity.bsky.social's capitulation so troubling is, as an institution of higher learning, it knows history very well...and did it anyway

If “affordable housing” isn’t actually affordable to the people who live here, who is it for? We need a housing system that puts people first. Let’s build a stronger New York together: buff.ly/4LQsboa

Seems like every week, another iconic figure is lost Truth is, I didn't know George Forman could even get sick. Killer punch Killer smile #RipGeorgeForeman

The sun’s out, New Yorkers are out—but if the trains aren’t running right, what’s the point? Public transit needs to be affordable, reliable, and actually working for riders. No more delays, fare hikes, and excuses. Let’s get it right. Stay up to date: buff.ly/4LQsboa

Which part is about the "violent illegals?" apnews.com/article/immi...

From the corner bodega to the family-owned spot that’s been holding it down for years, small businesses are the backbone of NYC. They invest in us every day, and it’s time we do the same. Support small businesses—stay connected: buff.ly/4LQsboa

No one should have to choose between paying rent and feeding their family. Wages aren’t keeping up, food prices are out of control, and the government keeps acting like struggling is just the cost of living. It’s not. And we can do better. Join the fight:

Alrighty, so this is the long-awaited first day of #spring? Ok, that tracks... #SpringEquinox

Remember, for some leaders, addressing the homelessness issue is more bout "not seeing" homeless and unhoused New Yorkers...much mess about housing them gothamist.com/news/nyc-say...

-Not a "violent criminal" -Not here "illegally" -Judges order ignored -Price of eggs still pretty high www.nytimes.com/2025/03/16/u...

Just a great effort by an undermanned @ny-knicks.bsky.social (Maybe minus the last minute 😢) I really thought we mighta had it...

I'm not in the DC weeds. But I do know we need strength and cohesive strategy My biggest problem with @schumer.senate.gov's decision is that from the outside it appears to be neither @democrats.org

Mahmoud Khalil's detention undermines democracy. The Public Advocate joined a cohort of elected officials to demand DHS release Khalil. It's up to us as New Yorkers to defend freedom of speech and the right to due process. Activism is not a crime.

We're just short of unlocking over $1 million in NYC matching funds — and the deadline is tomorrow! If we miss it, my opponent — one of the Mayor’s biggest allies — will have a huge advantage. Can you chip in today and help us close the gap?

A pregnant mother at the hospital in Rochester' taken by ICE, she had a civil (not criminal) violation Now, a student protestor who was in the country legally has been taken Once again, this was never about violent crimes or being here illegal...it's something much more insidious

So which part of "Violent Criminals" does a pregnant mother with a civil penalty (not criminal) at the hospital with pregnancy complications fit in #MAGA and #Trump and in its truest form www.wxxinews.org/local-news/2...

When I saw Congressmember Green a day ago, I thought it might be the first in some non-violent disapproval in the best tradition of American protests toward the moral arc of justice. It was not Even more disheartening to see 10 Democrats join in for this vote

This is a pretty exciting entrant at a helluva time!!! Let's keep the DREAM going Don't Rank Eric or Andrew for Mayor www.politico.com/news/2025/03...

Sadly, now the Mayor of NYC is not only a national embarrassment, but when given the chance to step up & and lead, he chose to be the face of capitulation instead

Thre truth of is, just collecting what's owed from the wealthy in taxes and nothing more could end poverty But the IRS needs more resources/staff to go after the wealthy, so they focus on the working class instead. Now #peepgame here; Trump, Elon & DOGE are cutting current #IRS staff by 1/2
