Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk responds, something we hopefully see a lot more of that from other European leaders. It's never been clearer than in this moment that Trump is Putin's ally, not Europe's.

That was the most shameful performance by any American president in a century. I want to fucking throw up.

While I wait to hear the outcome of some things, I’ve sent another little story out on submission. Gotta keep the ball rolling, people. 🎱

Reading through these now and the story by @emilyrinkema.bsky.social has just broken my heart. A beautiful piece of writing! 💙

My collection of midlife essays about parenting, time, death, divorce and all the in betweens came out nine months ago. Immensely grateful for the support, messages, and pictures taken by folks who have read it. Warms my heart. autofocusbooks.com/store/p/the-...

Chuffed to have my hermit crab republished by @trashcatlit.bsky.social alongside some of my favorite flash fiction writers! My piece first appeared in the defunct Reflex Fiction so it’s fab it gets a second airing now it’s no longer online. #flashfiction #SecondChance

Didn’t publish anything until I was sixty-something. This was the first one, now reprinted. It’s never too late! @trashcatlit.bsky.social trashcatlit.com/the-last-to-...

This issue is packed with stunning reprint short fiction. Go relove them as much as I do 💜 Huge thanks to @sarahkat.bsky.social for her input and selections and to @thejokelark.bsky.social and @terryholland.bsky.social for their valuable assistance.

My St Kilda story is reprinted here. This was the first story I ever had published, so it’s a special one. Thanks @trashcatlit.bsky.social ❤️

I think I’m in line for a whole truckload of rejections this month in my writing game cos I’ve been aiming HIGH. Just going to take a moment now to enjoy the delicious frisson for the fraction of a second it feels like daring

It's almost a year since TCL launched and we're flying. It is a voluntary operation though, our Ed's 'hectic hobby', so we appreciate any Ko-Fi cuppas you can send our way and we'll keep building the website and maybe do more print stuff. Thanks Trashers 🦝 ko-fi.com/trashcatlit

We're right at the beginning of the floral calendar: snowdrops (Candlemas bells), hellebores & the first primroses are opening. The whole botanical year is ahead of us & yesterday I saw a bumblebee-it was *just* warm enough for it to forage. We're on the verge of spring...

I'm so excited to open to queries tomorrow!

If you don’t want to read Bram Stoker’s Dracula together by lantern light in a lighthouse on the Irish coast during a full moon, then please don’t refer to yourself as “marriage material.”

🤭

The BBC is quite correct.

...and if you're worried a slight typo in your submission might disqualify you, clearly you have nothing to worry about at all 🤦‍♂️😉

One of the problems America is facing has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with how we look at business and businessmen. A disturbingly large percentage of the population believes in a model where good business is ruthless business, and you need callous leaders to be successful.

A useful article. Going to re-read this tomorrow before I do any more writing.✍️

So many people need a hug, a forehead kiss, and a haunted mansion with a magical library left to them by a mysterious relative right now

An afternoon playing with words is so delicious. 💻
