“Leaks suggest the Trump administration is now pushing for a ‘peace deal’ that heavily favours Russia.”

Stephen Miller is truly one of the most craven, awful, horrifying people I have reported on in my life. It is a blight on our nation so long as he has any power.

I’ve seen estimates as high as 5+ million for total #handsoff portests today, and just doing a very rough count of the biggest ones, it certain seems like in the millions.

👊🏻

“Arlington National Cemetery has scrubbed from its website information and educational materials about the history of black and female service members” is the most shameful, disgraceful, dangerous thing I’ve read in the last 24 hours. #impeachtrumpvance www.bbc.com/news/article...

🪦 New Yorkers are in front of the New York Stock Exchange for a mass die-in to symbolize how these devastating cuts will destroy families & take lives. Deep spending cuts to programs like healthcare, food assistance, and education is a matter of life & death for millions. Congress: #StopTheCuts!

Russia has kidnapped tens of thousands of Ukrainian children. Putin was indicted for this crime. Yale has a unit searching for them. Musk eliminated the funding. inews.co.uk/news/world/m...

From interview of Lee Bollinger, 1st Amendment scholar who served as dean of @UMichLaw, president of @UMich, and president of Columbia University. www.chronicle.com/article/were...

“I think it was the only way to really get his attention.”

Tell me Chuck Schumer is on the wrong side history without explicitly saying it.

Ronald Reagan called Social Security “a secure and stable base.” Elon Musk calls it a “Ponzi scheme.” @barbmcquade.bsky.social calls it what it is: a lifeline—flawed but essential—that keeps millions out of poverty and ensures retirees see the returns on their investment

One year ago, I made this meme with my daughter in mind. What could have been… #BloodySunday

On this 60th anniversary of #BloodySunday, we remember the men and women who were beaten, tear gassed, and risked their lives on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama to secure voting rights for all — including my dear friend John Lewis.

“It has become clear that Trump is not saying what he is saying just to shake us up, but he is saying it because he means it.” -source: European diplomat. The rest of the world gets it. When will we?

Let’s Create “Town Hall Night in America”

Moulton: He doesn’t have any sons or daughters who served in the military after 9/11. If just one of them had signed up, maybe he would know that we served on the ground alongside Canadian troops, French troops, troops from the UK, the Danes, the Poles—And you know, they lost a lot of lives there

The find out part

I agree with Donald Trump that an unelected bureaucrat should be fired. Let’s start with Elon Musk.

“The days of unelected bureaucrats are over…” Hello, Elon. #StateOfTheBunion

Al Green is ALL the Democrats tonight He understands the assignment: Never give up Never give in Always RESIST

Rep. @reptedlieu.bsky.social didn’t hold back at today’s VoteVets event: “What the President of the United States did to you was shameful, un-American, and in some cases, flat-out illegal.” Veterans deserve better—and we’re fighting to make sure they get it.

I’m still thinking about the incredible disconnect between the city that I live in and the city that Andrew Cuomo thinks he’s running for mayor of

THANK YOU: "Anora's doing great tonight. Two awards. I think Americans are finally ready for someone to stand up to a powerful Russian."

There’s always something out of touch about the Oscars, but the fact there’s been no reference to what’s happening in our country makes it hard for me to watch. What’s happening to our democracy must be front and center in our culture. We cannot push it aside or pretend like it’s not happening.

💙💛

Zelensky is a wartime leader watching his people suffer and die under Russian attacks every day. To be lectured and lied to by Trump and Vance, as they defend the war criminal dictator committing these atrocities, is unimaginable agony. An everlasting shame for America.

Name every victory when they come

I would die on the spot of shame if I were this spineless.

"Experts cannot recall a precedent for the United States, or any other country, extracting cash or resources from its own allies during a time of war" www.nytimes.com/2025/02/25/w...

if our guardrails are being dismantled, it’s time to bootstrap.

These absolute morons are going to destroy the United States. If you’re in favor of the US leaving NATO, you either don’t want the US to succeed, or you don’t know wtf NATO does. Worth noting that Mike Lee voted to expand NATO in 2022.

It’s not a constitutional crisis. A constitutional crisis is when political conflict cannot be resolved by existing rules. The US Constitution has procedures to deal with executive overreach—they’ve been nullified by partisanship. We don’t have constitutional crisis—the US is having regime change.

If you’ve ever taken the oath to uphold the Constitution, this is the time to live up to it.

Nobody is coming to save us. People are going to die. I hope it’s not the people you care about.

🤔

We’re about to find out the consequences of firing thousands of civil servants — FBI agents, USAID employees, and other career staffers in agencies throughout the federal government. The impact of these purges will have profound effects not only on the federal government, but on civil society.
