Triste Tropiques has gotta be the worst written chapter for Reverse 1999 yet. It’s got weird white saviorsism and it barely utilized Brazil as a setting that you could easily swap it out with any Latin American country or Florida. The story is just all over the place in what it’s trying to say

Roman Sands RE:Build has ~39 fonts across localizations which is a MASSIVE ASSACHE to manage given how integrated text is with a lot of our graphic design, but taking the time to tweak layouts for flaire here and there (not gone through localization QA yet so dont skewer me for glaring errors OK )

I finally got my fade in/ fade out transitions when you exit a room to work and DEAR GOD was it annoying… turns out I just had to reuse some of my cutscene manager coroutine functions. Anyway I can now show off levels that aren’t that dingy attic!!!
