Happy #PiDay! These rhubarb custard pies just came out of the oven this morning. I grew the rhubarb and made the filling, but knew I didn't have time to make my own crust. Vegetarian Tenderflake saves the day! #homemadeish #pie

Why do you do fibre arts? For me it has been about creating something tangible, something useful, and something unique. There is also a lot to be said for being able to respond "I made it" when receiving a compliment. #knitsky #crochet

Third time's the charm? I had to frog the first attempt because the pattern was flawed. I frogged the second when I made a mistake. Let's see if this one works! Clearly the new octopus needle stoppers from @flyingsquirrelyarn.bsky.social made all the difference. #wip #laceknitting

There is still a foot or more of snow in some places, but it's melted in the front garden to reveal shoots! A wild-type tulip and maybe daffodils? I don't remember what was planted where and am just excited to see things growing. Small joys matter. #springflowers #tulips

Finally blocking my shawl! Blocking makes a HUGE difference, especially with lace patterns. White yarn with teal speckles doesn't show up well on white blocking mats with black and blue grids, but trust me that it looks great. #knitsky #laceknitting #knitshawl
