I'm at a meeting at my public library. It is a community garden orientation, and plots are very cheap. Volunteer hours are used for maintenance and growing food for soup kitchens and the community. The org is supported by a local non profit. This is one of many things public libraries do. Fund them

The Alberta Government now wants to allow coal mining in the Eastern Slopes of the Rocky Mountains. Coal mining. COAL MINING! IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS! They tried this is 2020 but backed down due to huge public outrage. They’re now trying again. Spread the word. Let them hear you.
