I'm a queer Leather woman who was very involved in theatre. I went door to door in the 90s to raise $$ for AIDS research. Trans ppl have always been a part of my life. I've always cared. Having a trans son made me realize I needed to be louder. I needed to actively use my privilege to speak up/out.

#Hummingbird spotted! I'm so excited. We've seen a few hummingbirds in the yard, but none on our feeders. My SO captured this pic today. Looks like a new bird, not the same from last year. I need to name him. Last year there was a green one I named Jaq & a very fat one I named Gus Gus. #puttering

I need everyone to remove the diagnosis portion of Brain Worm Jr's horrible speech. ALL PEOPLE DESERVE TO LIVE. It's not that hard. 1 side effect of a bad flare, like the one I'm having, is I have no desire to eat anything. Throw in a childhood ED, Gastroparesis, & a stupid amount of food allergies/aversions & it's next to impossible to figure out what to eat. I had a package of pb crackers earlier. I need to eat something soon.

Dear employers everywhere, I'm not doing a one-way video interview. Job interviews are a two-way street. You interview me, I interview you. Phone interview? Fine. But I'm not going to allow you to discriminate by filming myself so you know my gender, age, ethnicity etc w/o a face to face meeting.
