One man just wiped out $10 trillion in wealth, is destroying centuries-old legal protections, and seems determined to unravel humanity’s greatest public health achievement. In 3 months. I don’t know how we get out of this. But if we do, one person can never have that kind of power again.

The Massachusetts governor, the city, and the university needs to drop everything to locate and free this girl and make sure this doesn't happen again. This is DEFCON-1. If they do this to someone who wrote an op-ed in a college newspaper, they will do this to anyone they don't like.

What a useful thing the NWS is. I just took a 45 minute walk under cloudless skies in the Willamette Valley roughly two hours before we're forecast for severe thunderstorms, golf ball hail, and unprecedented tornado activity. Without the NWS, no one would be buttoning up right now.
