There’s a real issue here. He’s used makeup to conceal hand bruising and looks like an IV has been in place. Coupled with his constant fatigue, this president is not well and it’s being hidden. Come back and check this post when the facts emerge.

Being able to switch off - sight, sound, and memory - of an event is a legitimate human survival technique. Some events create fight, some make us run, others freeze or fawn. Events can be compartmentalised or ignored, to increase the chance of physical survival. It is a very primal response.

Australian politics kept its upward trend away from trumpism, with the losing conservative Coalition leadership vote today, after Peter Dutton lost his seat last weekend. The party room voted for a centre right leader Susan Ley, over Angus Taylor who wanted to match further right. Good result.
