Weaker. Most of the response to Trudeau's speech last night was "I fucking hate that guy, but he's right."
I think Trump played his hand too soon. What he has done has galvanized Canadians and it's going to be much harder for the populists to gain control of the country now.

Gave up on the NFL about 5 years ago. It's blatantly rigged.
If you think Taylor's team is going to lose I have a bridge to sell you.

Eh what else is new. Gave up on the NFL when it became blatantly obvious they wanted him and KC to win a few years ago.

Re: Evans
What do Evans, Armia, Savard and Dvorak have in common? They are all UFAs, but also make up the core of the 8th best PK in the NHL.
I can't see a reality where they all leave and rookies (bad) or Suzuki (worse) fill the PK void. Surely this is justification enough to keep Evans, right?
comment in response to

Yes. Evans and Armia are both UFAs and crucial to the Habs PK right now. If you let them both (and Dvorak) walk at the end of this season you essentially have to rebuild the PK from scratch. Wouldn't want a rookie or Suzuki taking on those duties.
Let Armia and Dvo go, keep Evans for the PK.

You can't lose both him and Armia with how well the PK is going. You need to keep at least one and IMO I'd overpay Jake for it

They have to keep him. Get him signed for 4-5 years to serve as a bridge for Beck and co. Can't let this one go away IMO.

Unless they get back a 20 something F they should re-sign him. Don't need more picks.

Can someone get him on the orange line to the bell centre ASAP

Dunno Brian, I still feel like this is a big whiff.
Carrier is small, expensive and could take up room that would go to one of the young guys.
Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised, but this seems like a miss just like the original Lehkonen trade.

Healthy scratch for game 1, wearing an A for game 2? 🤔

Depends on the player available. A mid 20s C that is relatively established? You go for it IMO

That was good, too, but faking the giveaway to obliterate Tucker is one of my core Habs memories.
