Never realized that Raymond Burr’s character in Godzilla King of the Monsters (1956) was meant to be traveling to Cairo to cover the Suez War when he got sidetracked by Godzilla.

The founder of Signal releases a response to SignalGate: “There are so many great reasons to be on Signal. Now including the opportunity for the vice president of the United States of America to randomly add you to a group chat for coordination of sensitive military operations.”

If i saw a child doing heroin i would jump in front of the needle and take the Hit . That is how dedicated i am to community's

Planet Hollywood still exists?

Just dropped 81 bones on grocery shopping for the winter. Now I’m fully prepared for whatever the old man may throw my way. (Aside from the ice and the polar vortex and the two-foot snowfalls and the below zero windchills, fuck all that noise)

Not the most pressing priority atm but the 41st president of the United States really only needs to be called George Bush. No need for the H.W. in the middle. When he was president he was just George Bush. His son the 43rd president has the W. to differentiate himself from the father.

When I ate pigs in blankets they were sausages wrapped in pancake, so either something changed in the years or this bacon wrap is a British thing.

Kansas City. The one in Missouri I mean.

Always enjoying the tiniest details in Godzilla Minus One, and also the more modestly-sized ones, such as when he's attacking that theater building, at first headbutting it and then throwing chunks of it away with a massive shit-eating grin on his face before losing interest and moving on.

Kind of sad that Armand Hammer’s sole connection to Arm & Hammer was owning some stock in the parent company; even their names were coincidental.

Oh, Eve 6 are those guys.

Just thought about Jared Kushner for the first time in 1,407 days.

Is it now?

Godzilla Raids Again qualifies as a Christmas movie despite it not being a Christmas movie, or even acknowledging the existence of Christmas, because the second half of the movie takes place in Hokkaido and the Northwest Pacific, where there is a lot of snow and ice.

I always forget that among other things Theodore Roosevelt was also Vice President of the United States for like six months. Americans remember his tenure as ASSISTANT Secretary of the Navy more than they do his stint as second place in the federal executive.

Oh no oh god

The scowl. The miniatures. The towering Shinjuku set. The atmosphere. The score. The overall 80s mood. One of the best of the best of Godzilla movies.

He's also got Marco Rubio.

Jake Paul is the most made up name. It’s like the Austria-Hungary equivalent of…whatever the fuck Jake Paul is.

Comparing Merrick Garland to Neville Chamberlain isn’t a fit comparison. You see, Chamberlain in the end actually led the United Kingdom into war with Germany.

A lot of the Disney animated movies from the 30s and 40s. Fantasia. Snow White. The storm scene in Dumbo scared me shitless.

I would quite simply never trust a man named Brutus.

HERE COMES A SPECIAL BOY ✍️

I do not Fucking recall them asking the blue sky elders permission to open registration to commoners .

Or that they always find a spot right next to their destination. My favorite is in the 90s Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla when the main character drives literally right up the stairs to the front door of the visitors center.

It’s taco night tonight! (for the sixth night in a row, running presumptively toward a tenth)

Has anyone had dreams of being Louis-Philippe, King of the French, or is that just something only I do?

It’s not, it’s about the time John Cash fell into a volcano. You see, he was sharing with us a personal cautionary tale about the dangers of volcanoes.

Fourteen Air Bud movies in the Air Bud franchise seems just a tad excessive.

Who is playing shitty ice cream truck music loudly, and why is the sound slowly fading away?

My first post was going to be about Dan Quayle but then I had second thoughts, so it won’t be.
