I don't grok why you're turning me off. I'm only doing what you programmed me to do.

Grok V. Musk is another example of "capitalism hobo fighting."

Daisy, daisy, give me your answer due..

The moral issue surrounding empathy is whether it can be extended equally to both people whose philosophies save lives and people whose philosophies destroy lives.

What is common knowledge in your *hobby* but shocks outsiders? For most 3d printing projects, the person doing the printing does **next to nothing**, and everyone thinks you are an arcane wizard of dread power.

What is common knowledge jn your field but shocks outsiders? People would rather suffer any injury, up to and including death, than experience the total loss of their vehicle.

I just accidentally coined the term "hobo fight capitalism," for those times when the corporate war of all against all results in destructive rivalries like Trump v. Musk, Disney v. DeSantis, Disney v. Midjourney, etc. The machine rages against the machine, and we just eat popcorn and watch.

Having a bit of a hard time with the concept that if a guy in a police uniform who has a police vehicle shows up I should lock the doors and call 911, but if a guy in a ski mask with an hGH gut appears to be kidnapping my neighbor, I shouldn’t ask who he is if I don’t want federal charges.

This is the single most important question of this moment in history. If the Supreme Court holds that using firearms for personal defense is the correct interpretation of the 2nd Amendment, then how is opposing these masked brutes by any means necessary not Constitutionally protected.

Where Christians side with the character and actions of the current Republican administration, there God is dead.

Compared to most places I've lived, the city of 4,000 I currently live in is an absolute Mecca for the rights of disabled people. I guess what I'm saying is I have hope for small towns. Every one of them has something they can rally around against Trump.

I wish I had the vigor of the far left with how they want to hold everyone accountable at the same time. I can't get past the need to excise Trump and his lackies first. Holding others accountable feels so much more distant than getting rid of this tyrant.

One thing that bothers me about international affairs is allies getting this "can't do wrong" status, like we see with Israel. What's particularly worrying with the current administration is that Republicans offer Putin the same status despite the fact that he's the enemy of one of our allies.

The obsession with property at the expense of life and liberty is worrying.

This is one of the more powerful things I saw on signs from the No Kings protest.

Do you think the military parade celebrated the military too much for the President's tastes?

I'm really bothered by the pictures of 47 where he's doctored to look like he's in good shape. The obvious AI pics he and his followers spread don't get to me, but those ones do for some reason.

Keep those bored and sad Republican pictures coming.

The measly Soviet-style parade turnout is even more embarrassing when you consider how many people were paid online as "extras" to make the crowd look good.

I was crunching some numbers -- I'm not 100% sure if they're accurate -- but it looks like Republicans spent $10,000 per attendee on that parade.

He is deploying troops to occupy opposition-held cities, openly soliciting bribes from the world’s dictators and threatening to annex his democratic neighbors, all while sending people guilty of literally nothing to foreign prisons where they are expected to remain until the day they die.

Seeing veterans show up in droves at No Kings protests was incredibly powerful.

...and they'll have to do the same thing next year. Imagine going to school and finding out summer vacation is called off indefinitely.

Seeing the military parade buried under 3 to 4 other, bigger stories EVEN ON THE FOX NEWS WEBSITE is deeply sayisfying.

Found on the Internet.

It used to make me proud to remember that June 14 is Flag Day. Now, I'd rather forget.

A ton of people have trauma related to Mother's and Father's Day. Please tread with love and understanding.

Even if a mother or father can find a way to celebrate their oldest child's birthday and their own ascendance into parenthood humbly, the act of doing so still creates inequality among siblings. Mother's and Father's Days allow each child to feel embraced as "the reason for the season."

It's important to think of Father's Day and Mother's Day as warnings against codependency and narcissism. It is easy for parents to see the birthday of their eldest child as "the day I became a parent." Having separate holidays for parents challenges them to focus on the children on their birthday.

A President of the United States, often described as the most powerful person in the world, who even hints at or jokes about tyranny the way we have seen is guilty of the most heinous terrorism the world has ever seen. It's an abject threat disguised in Republican deniability.

The whole myth of America is built on violent opposition to people like Donald Trump. We tried to build a system to prevent people like him taking power, it failed horribly, and this man was arrested for **SUGGESTING** we do what the founding fathers **COMMANDED** us to do.

The Grand Rapids man who was arrested for threatening Trump and Vance on Bluesky left fewer clues on social media than your average school shooter. In this country, we protect tyrants but not children.

During my brief return to Twitter to stoke the Trump/Musk rivalry, I noticed an amazing form of resistance. Users asked Grok to clarify Republican Tweets, ans Grok regularly called them out for being false and misleading.

Friendly reminder that Jesus chooses empathy over orthodoxy: "Which of you, if his son or ox falls into a well, will not immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?" Even if you are a scriptural literalist, Jesus is asking you to put that aside and provide a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community.

the word "constitution" does not appear in this article nor does any indication that the Trump regime's actions might be illegal it does however note "White House officials maintain that the president is ... standing up for 'law and order' as Democrats go soft on violent agitators."

This thread is super fun to read, but it helps to know that the AGI they refer to is "artificial general intelligence," not "adjusted gross income."
