Someone I know went to the doctors office the other day and said most all the front desk people and nurses and doctors were wearing masks that day. Which isn’t the norm anymore. So if you need to go to the doctors, that should be enough to tell you that now is a good time to wear a mask….

I thought that was the bottom. But the basement apparently has another basement….

One of my favorite books is on sale as a digital book. books.apple.com/us/book/the-...

Just finished the book “Remarkably Bright Creatures” and really loved the book. I had zero idea what it was about going in. It was recommended to me by a friend, and it was really great.

New Year’s resolution-acquire a pet donkey in 2025….😂

Having Labs all my life, this made me laugh. All of them were great and wonderful dogs and all of them at one time or another were smart enough to get themselves some delicious people food. This is the first holiday season for decades that I don’t have a Lab. This brought up funny memories…

I have only had crème brûlée once that I liked. It happened to be a chocolate crème brûlée. Today I was lucky enough to have gingerbread crème brûlée and it was amazing. Are there other flavors? Do I just not like vanilla? Have others been having all these amazing flavors and I just missed them? 😂

One of the kiddos asked for a mask chain for Christmas so this was my first attempt at making one. Will show it to her and see what she thinks and if she wants to make any changes. Also these pics made me order some black n95 masks after solely using auras for years.

Getting ready to go to a blood draw. And I know I will probably be the only one wearing a mask. Just talked to one of the kiddos about how it is exhausting to be one of the few masking. But the alternative is so much worse. So a-masking we will go….

One of the kids came to the house to pick something up and get their car tires filled. I thought it was going to be a quick stop, but they ended up staying for almost two hours. It was a lovely, unexpected surprise.

Feeling a bit “what if” today. The plan b4 the pandemic was after my youngest graduated, I would go back to school and start working after being home for 20 years. What if Long Covid had not happened after a March ‘20 Covid infection. What if I didn’t have fatigue and feel sick everyday. What if…🫥

It wasn’t my original plan (which was to see Wicked in a few weeks when the theaters were less crowded) But I ended up going to a full theater today. I loved the movie. I had on an N95. While I miss the old theater experience of snacks, it isn’t worth it to me, w/Long Covid, to catch Covid again. 😷

So thankful that even while still struggling with Long Covid, I am well enough to do a lot of the cooking and having our small family together for the day. I have to plan better, not procrastinate as much, and I am now exhausted, but I did it. And I am thankful. Happy Thanksgiving!

I have oatmeal for breakfast with some kind of fruit. And I haven’t had apple with it for quite awhile. As I was cutting up an apple this morning it made me sad/happy because our Lab at the end of her almost fourteen years suddenly liked fruit and would wait for me to give her some apple each day.

This is not a good start to lowering the cost of groceries, right…🤨 www.reuters.com/world/us/us-...

There is no way around it. I slept late because I was so tired. And I have to go to Costco mid day on a Saturday. Before Thanksgiving. Along with the total population of the surrounding suburbs…😱😬 Hoping I make it back by dark….
