A little Saturday business chat because I'm still drinking coffee in my PJs: A business without operations in place can never create a culture of trust. Your customers will always feel jerked around and your staff will never have the time they need to generate good, smart ideas. That's the post.

Fact: High anxiety people will frame their need for control as being concerned about your safety. For example: "I hadn't heard from you and I started to wonder if you were OK" Translates to: I feel out of control because you didn't communicate on my timeline. It's a means on control 9/10 times.

My brain: why doomscrolling? Me: Because mad, bored, confirmation bias easier than revolution My brain: got it. So, why again? You can't be your own consultant but you can def audit the reason beneath your reaction. This works in business leadership too - especially your own.

It is indeed time to brawl. 2016 was my wake up call that my own complacency about political dealings was part of what led us to where we are today. I'll drop my reading list if you too find yourself woefully behind on how our government is supposed to work.

Starting this year off with the only company that really matters - friends and loved ones.
