Fundamentally, the reason Trump will fail is that he is destroying political trust. There is no way to ever know he will DO what he says. Whether you're an ally, an enemy, a citizen or a foreigner, eventually it will be clear there is no deal to cut, no promise to rely on. He'll break it tomorrow.
