Good article from @chron.com on some research that explained why the damage from the derecho was so bad downtown relative to what was seen with Beryl. Definitely a physical and meteorological difference in how the wind was channeled. Interesting paper linked in the article from FIU.

I have used @raycast.com for a couple years now. I love how the keyboard-first approach and productivity tools have really improved my workflow. It feels like I can fly through my work with less friction compared to a point-and-click approach.
