Anyone else see similarities between the way Trump presents his tariff claims and how televangelists present theirs?

I’m not a lawyer and I don’t know how these things work but I find it hard to believe powerful law firms cave. If I do “pro bono” work for someone’s “charities” and in return got help for my clients’ “tariff issues” wouldn’t this just be good business? We’d say we caved so it wouldn’t look improper.

With talk of the economy tanking and oligarchs buy businesses, farms, etc on the cheap why is there no discussion of this opportunity for pro social buying. Imagine Whole Foods and Target employee owned, family farms refinanced as part of co-ops instead of corporations, etc.

If I was an affluent Democrat I wouldn’t be holding up ping pong paddle protests. I’d be putting up billboards across the country that read “Russian (or foreign) propaganda is a worse drug than fentanyl. It kills countries”. People read billboards, not mailers or door hangers or ping pong paddles.

The emphasis on the “takeover” of USAID should be on Musk’s apparent ability to order US Marshals to arrest legitimate security personnel trying to secure the facility from unveted individuals. This is the hallmark of a coup d’etat.
