So first it was regime change time, then bombing time, but then it was a "one-off", then there was a "cease-fire", now " it is uncertain" as quoted by the Times. Let us do this, kids. How about we just stop talking about shit until it fully plays out? I am fucking dizzy from this constant nonsense.

Lord knows that "regime change" in the Middle East has always worked out for the United States. We inherently misunderstand the Middle East. How can we ever really hope to deal with the region in a proper, more peaceful way? www.theatlantic.com/newsletters/...

Before the explosion of short-form content, our attention spans in America were about 3 minutes on average per person. Now, afterwards, I would say short-form content has probably cut that in half. I love how every tech we use to communicate ideas ends up becoming toxic in some regard.

Why is it that sports teams think because we use their stadiums, they deserve to be constantly taxpayer-funded? That is like saying we have to pay for a store to be built because the public spends their money there. www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootb...

As a person whose cell phone broke 2 years ago, and decided not to buy another one, I can tell you that my life is better off for it. www.theatlantic.com/family/archi...

If people think censoring benign words that are non insults and reporting people for it is the way to go I will drop bluesky like a bad fucking habit. Smarten up people or this site will be dead as dog shit in 2 years and become an unending echo chamber. Basically left wing twitter.

Donald Trump is the ultimate case of projection. We are seeing him act out every insult he threw at democrats. Whether it was about a possible WW3, a great depression, prices going up, and the bevy of bullshit insults he threw at democrats. Fuck anyone who voted for this dude. Such stupidity.

Have to love the fact that a lot of people voted GOP this term because of the democrats "supporting the war in Gaza," but now, not even 7 months in, Trump takes it right back to the M.E, empowering the very people who were bringing harm to Gaza in the first place. Irony is a bitch. Sorry kids.
